For Immediate Release
The North Central West Virginia Tea Party is pleased to announce that at its Second Annual Independence Day Tea Party on Monday, July 5, 2010 at noon at the Veterans’ Park Amphitheater in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a dedicated member of our organization, Frank Tumas, will announce his candidacy for United States Senate as an Independent. We will be supporting Frank in obtaining the necessary signatures to gain ballot access and for a campaign to make him the next United States Senator from the Great State of West Virginia.
Frank is a retiree who lives in Richie County and is a dedicated member of our organization. He has been married for over 40years to his wife Terri and is especially proud of his five grandchildren. Before he retired, he received his bachelor's in electrical engineering from Fairleigh Dickenson University. He worked in industrial management for twenty-five years. He also spent ten years doing electrical contracting and a few years teaching math and science. He is a friend of coal and would vote against cap and tax or any other scheme that would hurt West Virginia's economy. He would vote to repeal Obamacare. He is for a balanced federal budget and for reducing the size of the federal government to only what the Constitution mandates. He is a firm believer in the entire Bill of Rights, including the First, Second, and Tenth Amendments.
Among other confirmed speakers for the rally are Congressional Candidate David McKinley, State Senator Clark Barnes, Fair Tax State Chairman Brock Oliverio, Former Congressional Candidate Conrad Lucas, and Campaign for Liberty State Chairman Ed Burgess.
