Obama Finally Agrees, higher costs of doing business through government regulations costs jobs. By extention higher costs to businesses of higher taxes costs jobs. Additionally, LOWER costs to business of LESS regulations and less taxes CREATES JOBS. Lower costs = lower prices = more money in consumers' pockets to buy additional items. THAT requires the creation of additional jobs to produce those additional items. (here is a link to the entire article) http://bdtonline.com/local/x803542018/Obama-yields-on-smog-rule

This is NOT just about the EPA. ALL regulations that create significant compliance costs MUST be eliminated as the article reports “Obama said his decision was made in part to reduce regulatory burdens and uncertainty at a time of rampant questions about the strength of the U.S. economy.”
The AP report continues: “withdrawal of the smog regulation was a good first step toward removing obstacles that are blocking business growth. 'But it is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to stopping Washington Democrats’ agenda of tax hikes, more government ‘stimulus’ spending and increased regulations, which are all making it harder to create more American jobs,' said Boehner spokesman Michael Steel.” and “Thomas Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said the move was 'an enormous victory for America’s job creators.'”

Obama finally is getting it, the Republicans' and the People know what is needed. Reduce regulations. Keep the mines and the coal fired plants open. STOP destropying jobs. Reduce regulations and taxes to CREATE jobs. Once the economy is cooking and we have an overabundance of jobs with higher wages and company supplied health care and pensions, THEN implement these regulations that will destroy jobs to cool off a hot economy to prevent run away inflation.

Hello my fellow West Virginian,

The next election in 2012 is vitally important. The next representative that will be sent to congress with be voting on legislation that will effect your future. Issues like education, health care, jobs, the national debt, just to name a few. What hangs in the balance is the same two parties doing the same old business.

The Democrats and Republicans care more about big business, special interest groups, and lobbyists. Unemployment is high and instead of our elected leaders focusing on jobs, they are voting along party lines. In this election we can no longer afford to vote along party lines. We need a leader. We need someone to stand up and fight for West Virginia. The incumbents need to go. That is why I am running for the US House of Representatives. Yes, West Virginia needs new leadership.

My name is Raymond V. Davis III and I am an Independent running for West Virginia's 1st district. We can't afford to send someone back who is going to play follow the leader.

I am trying to find volunteers to help with the campaign doing fun things like door to door for the petition to get on the ballot for 2012. My contact information is below. Check out my website and where I stand on the issues and then decide for yourself. I hope that you will support me and vote for me. If you want to make a contribution contact us by e-mail or use Paypal on the website. My website is http://raymondvdavisiiiforuscongress.webs.com and my campaign e-mail is davisra36@yahoo.com. Thanks, and with your help, together we will bring change to West Virginia.

Thank you for your time
